JOLENE KHOR

Jolene Khor is an award-winning composer, orchestrator, arranger, conductor and pianist from Malaysia.  Known for her whimsical and fantasy-driven compositions, reminiscent of the style popularized by Studio Ghibli in Japan, Jolene blends her passion for Japanese and Chinese aesthetic with her extensive knowledge of both popular and orchestral instrumentation to create a compelling blend of East and West.  Jolene is currently composing epic orchestral fantasy and whimsical scores for HighRollers DnD, Nomnivores Games, TTRPG podcasts like The Writer's Room 7th Sea, DistalsPlace and The Storyteller Squad, and an audiobook by Lemon Mouse Press.

Her compositions span orchestral, chamber, and solo works, including A Dream Land of ShaYuan 莎韻的夢鄉, where she served as composer, arranger, and orchestrator, commissioned by Taiwanese composer Hung Yuean Chung. Her chamber music includes Dawn of Winter, a Euphonium, Tuba, and Piano Trio performed at the University of Northern Iowa’s Amplify Inclusivity recital, and Prince of the Forest, a string quartet performed by the Morassi String Quartet at Strings for Ukraine. In 2021, her piano work Dance of the Kitsune was featured in Tchaikovsky: 180 Seasons Later, performed at the Russian Embassy in London and the Royal College of Music. As an orchestrator and arranger, Jolene has contributed to large-scale productions such as Taiwan’s NSO Our Lives in Song concert. Alongside her writing, she is an active performer, providing keyboard accompaniment and improvisation for events like Amplify Her live music and networking sessions.

 

Jolene has conducted orchestras and chamber groups as part of her work in recording sessions. She was hired to conduct the Queen Charlotte Orchestra during the Netflix organised promotional concert at Covent Garden on the 13th of May 2023. She is also hired as a pianist to perform and record for professional singers like Sonia Elisheva, Sejel Bodereau, Kathy Muir, Ira Luzina and Andrea Dee.

DARREN SNG

Darren Sng is London-based composer and conductor born in Singapore, who specialises in writing music for film and media. Having been occasionally talked out of writing overly ambitious music in his earlier years as a composer, his current artistic direction remains ironically driven by a stubborn urge to challenge instrumental and musical conventions in extreme yet meaningful ways. 

 

His recent composing work include the scores to the BAFTA Yugo nominated documentary 'Orchids: Darwin's Conundrum', and 'When The Tide Comes' (BAFTA long listed). Other projects include 'Old School' which was selected for the BIFA qualifying London Short Film Festival, and 'The Blue Faraway' which was selected for the Oscar qualifying In The Palace Film Festival.

​As an orchestrator and assistant, Darren has worked with a range of composers including Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch, Matthew Herbert, Adam Price, Kate Simko, and Aleksandra Vilcinska. He has also recorded and conducted at venues such as Fames Project Macedonia and AIR Lyndhurst Studios.

​

Darren’s passion for multi-disciplinary art forms also extends into his work as a concert composer. He has spent the past year working on two chamber operas - “My Days as a Zombie on Earth” staged by TeÌ‚te-aÌ€-TeÌ‚te Opera in collaboration with the Royal College of Music, and “Livestream: @friendlyfisherman meets giant talking SEASHELL!! ;o” commissioned by the Singapore Lyric Opera.

Darren is a two-time recipient of the Elgar Memorial Prize in Composition (2020 and 2022), as well as an MA Graduate of the National Film and Television School, where he received the AVID Award For Excellence In Composition.

LEVENT ALTUNTAS

Levent Altuntas (b. 1994) is a German composer from Frankfurt, currently based in London. He started playing the violin at the age of six and started composing shortly thereafter. While in high school, he was a composition student of Prof. Claus Kühnl at the Hoch Conservatory.

 

In 2014 he began his studies at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, where he graduated in 2020. He then relocated to London to pursue a Master of Music degree in Composition for Screen at the Royal College of Music, where he was also a John Barry Scholar for Film Composition. His principal study teachers included Prof Howard Davidson, Prof Filip Šijanec and Dr Dimitri Scarlato. He graduated in 2022 with distinction.

 

Levent's compositions and orchestrations have been recorded and performed internationally by high-caliber ensembles and orchestras, such as the London Metropolitan Orchestra, the Staatskapelle Halle, The Twiolins, the Carducci Quartet, the Celebris Ensemble, the Landesjugendorchester Bremen, the Kammerphilharmonie Frankfurt,  the Rheingauer Filmsymphoniker and the Mainhattan Strings .
 

In 2019 he was commissioned by Stark Entertainment to arrange music from MARVEL superhero movies for live performances at both the Avengers exhibit and the Thunder Theater, one of Europe's biggest movie theaters, as part of CCXP Cologne. In the same year he also received a nomination for the German Gamemusic Award.

 

His most recent projects include orchestrations for several high profile productions, scores for numerous short films as well as the feature films "World Order" (dir. Roberto Puzzo) and "Hard Copy," (dir. Daniel Fooley) available for streaming through Amazon Prime UK.

Since 2024, in addition to his work as a composer and orchestrator, he is also a lecturer in music arranging at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts.

LUKE MOMBREA

Luke Mombrea is a composer originally from Oakland, California. His work spans many different mediums including concert works, art installations and scores for film and television. Luke’s work often utilizes folk materials, improvisation, microtonality and electroacoustic processing.

​

His concert music has been performed internationally, including performances by players from the London Symphony Orchestra and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. His piece Black Gold was premiered by the London Symphony Orchestra in May 2024 and was followed up by his piece Redwood Hymn receiving its premiere at the Barbican Centre in June 2025.

​

Luke frequently collaborates on audiovisual performances, particularly with New York-based artist, Nate Mohler. Luke’s A/V work has been featured at the Barbican Centre, SXSW, The Wallace Collection and Art Basel.

​

While studying at UCLA, Luke was introduced to the film music industry by interning and then working at Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control Productions. He then traveled to London where he graduated from the Royal College of Music with a Master’s of Music in Composition.

Since then he has regularly worked on large-scale film and television projects providing both orchestration and music preparation. His credits include Silo, Loki, Grace, Alien: Earth, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and The Wild Robot. His orchestrations have been recorded at Abbey Road, AIR, Fox, Warner Brothers and Sony studios.

​

Luke has scored films that have premiered at numerous major film festivals such as at Cannes, SXSW, BFI London, Venice and Sundance. Most recently, he completed the score for Point Unknown, a pilot being developed by HBO/Warner. He is currently based in Los Angeles.
